This mug features our original artwork “Dharawal Country” – a tribute to the place we call home.
Dharawal Country refers to the traditional lands and waters of the Dharawal people, extending across parts of southern Sydney and the Illawarra region.
The artwork brings together the ocean, rocky coastline, sunset, kangaroo, lizard, bird and native Australian plants. Together they represent the land, water, wildlife and natural beauty of the place where Hungry Kangaroo lives, creates and tells its stories.
The words “This is my country – Dharawal Country” express our connection to the place we call home and our respect for its Country, history and natural environment.
